Are We There Yet?

This morning, I drove the boys to Cloquet to pick up my step-daughter and one of her friends who had spent the week at the cabin (my mother-in-law drove them from the cabin to Cloquet).  This afternoon, I drove the four kids back to Minneapolis.  I lost track of how many times the boys asked me and each other, “Are we there yet?”  Fortunately, they understand the concept of time enough to realize that the closer the arrival time on the GPS and the clock on the dashboard are to each other, the closer we are to being “there yet.”  Ten down, five (or nine) to go.
