Euro 2016 Day 7

Second matches of group play continued.  Some sides wore what they wore a few days ago; some didn’t.

Germany vs Poland.  Germany looked as good, if not better, the second time around in its white jerseys, black shorts, and black socks.  Poland looked good in red with white accents.  Grade: A.

Northern Ireland vs Ukraine.  Northern Ireland looked as good, if not better, the second time around in its green jerseys with blue sleeves, white shorts, and green socks.  Ukraine looked as good, if not better, the second time around in yellow with blue accents.  Grade: A.

England vs Wales.  England looked as bad, if not worse, the second time around in its Nike template.  I don’t care if GFGS (gray for gray’s sake) and NFNS (neon for neon’s sake) aren’t “Welsh” colors – sometimes it’s good to think outside the box.  Grade: C (F for England, A for Wales).
