Second games of group play started. Some sides wore what they wore a few days ago; some didn’t.
Russia vs Slovakia. Russia looked as good, if not better, the second time around in its maroon and gold kits (I will explain in a little bit). Slovakia’s white kits with blue accents looked better with the roof closed than they would have in broad daylight, in my opinion. Grade: A.
Romania vs Switzerland. Romania, like Russia, looked as good, if not better, the second time around in its yellow kits with blue and red accents. Switzerland looked even better in red jerseys with white accents, white shorts with red accents, and red socks with white accents. Grade: A.
France vs Albania. Like Russia and Romania, France blah-blah-blah blue and red blah-blah-blah. Albania’s white kits with black, red, and gray accents looked better at night than they would have during the day, in my opinion. Grade: A.
